About

I am a Professor (Special Appointment) at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Before joining USTC, I was a research fellow at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. I received my B.S. in Electronic Information Science and Technology from USTC in 2015 and my Ph.D. from NTU in 2020, advised by Prof. Tay Wee Peng.

My group works on physics-grounded and efficient machine learning, with a focus on world models, multimodal large language models, intelligent agents, and AI for Science. We aim to develop theoretically grounded, scalable models that bridge physical insight and modern deep learning.
